Belize connects pristine Caribbean waters to ancient Mayan ruins. Between, people from many backgrounds reside among the greatest concentrations of biodiversity on the planet. Geography students will explore the physical/historical geography and cultural landscapes of Belize through visits to caves, islands, reefs, mountains, rainforests and ruins; while Watercolor students will snorkel and sketch, exploring the visual differences between stream and ocean underwater environments. A special feature of this program is the opportunity to snorkel at a World Heritage site.
Participants will stay at the Belize Zoo Tropical Education Center and International Zoological expeditions. (IZE) accommodation sites at Blue Creek and South Water Caye. All meals are included.
Enjoy a day trip to the ancient Maya archaeological site of Xunantunich, participate in a nocturnal zoo tour at Belize Zoo, and experience the tastes, sights and sounds of the Belize Chocolate Festival.
Program includes round-trip air transportation from Chicago, Illinois or Nashville, Tennessee to Belize and ground transportation to the final destination. Round-trip air transpiration from other cities MAY be considered on a case-by-case basis at an additional cost.

Group or Individual Travel Allowed
Option One - Group Travel
Travel together with faculty, staff and other participants from your CCSA program with our group travel. CCSA will purchase a airline ticket from select U.S. cities on your behalf. The airline cost will be included in your final bill from CCSA. In addition to the flight, you will also receive transport to/from the accommodation in the destination city and the airport.

Option Two - Individual Travel
If you wish to make independent travel arrangements and depart from a city not listed or travel outside the program dates please choose INDEPENDENT TRAVEL from the selection below. You will book your own flights and arrange your own transportation to/from the airport and the accommodation site of the program. This is a great option for going early, staying late, or using airline miles to purchase tickets. We highly recommend participants not fly standby for these programs as a late arrival may negatively impact your grade.Important Note for Independent Travelers:
